Sheds, garages and houses clad in COLORBOND TRIMDEK look great, but the ribbed profile makes mounting anything awkward. Screw a flat-backed light or bracket straight onto the sheet and it either rocks on the ribs, crushes the profile or leaves gaps where water and insects get in.
The fix is a mounting block shaped to match the cladding profile on one side and give you a flat face on the other.

Pick black, grey or white to blend with your cladding or trim, or to match the accessory you're mounting.
Before you order
- Confirm your cladding profile. TRIMDEK is a specific profile. Corrugated, Spandek and other profiles have different rib shapes and spacing.
- Check the accessory. Make sure what you're mounting suits the block's flat face, and compare it with the product images.
- Plan your hardware. Mounting hardware and the accessory shown in images aren't included unless stated. Use fasteners suited to outdoor use and your cladding.
- Seal penetrations. Any hole through steel cladding should be sealed to keep water out.
- Electrical work. If you're mounting a hardwired light or other electrical fitting, use a licensed electrician.
