Split-system aircon drains are the perfect hidey-hole for green tree frogs, geckos, mud wasps, cockroaches and spiders – and once something moves in, the drain blocks, water backs up and you end up with drips down the wall or water leaking from the indoor head.

Our Aircon Drain Strainer caps the open end of the drain line with a slotted cage that lets condensate run straight through while keeping pests, leaves and debris out. Printed in tough, UV-resistant ASA, it won't go brittle and crack in the sun like many cheap plastic caps.

Choose Your Configuration

External Slide-On Fit (27 mm OD) – slides over the outside of the pipe. A full-length sleeve with the slotted strainer section below – ideal when the pipe end is cut square and has clear length to slide onto.

Internal Spigot Fit (22 mm ID) – a stepped spigot pushes inside the pipe, with a slightly wider strainer body below. Neat, compact look – ideal for short pipe stubs or where there's little room beneath the outlet.

How to Install

1	Clear any existing blockage and check water flows freely from the drain.
2	Cut the pipe end square and remove any burrs.
3	Slide the strainer over the pipe (External) or push the spigot into the pipe (Internal).
4	For a permanent fit, apply PVC cement to the joint before fitting. Leave unglued if you'd like to remove it for cleaning.

Check Your Fit
Measure your drain pipe before ordering. The outside diameter should be 27 mm for the External Slide-On version, and the inside diameter 22 mm for the Internal Spigot version.
