The FNQI-3D sunshade is designed for a quick and simple installation, with multiple mounting options to suit your preference.
The two halves clip together using integrated tension clips, snapping firmly around the display. No screws or hardware are needed to hold the halves together, so the assembly stays secure once installed.
The sunshade is designed to use the existing surface mounting holes on compatible Garmin displays.
Remove the plastic covers from the face of the display to expose the factory surface mounting holes. The holes in the sunshade line up with these locations, so the supplied stainless steel hardware fastens the sunshade securely to the display.
Included mounting hardware:
- 4 × M4 x 18mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screws
- 4 × M4 Stainless Steel Flat Washers
- 4 × M4 Stainless Steel Nuts
This method gives a strong, secure fit with no modifications needed to the sunshade.
Because the integrated tension clips hold the two halves together, no extra hardware is needed to keep the sunshade assembled. That makes adhesive mounting a great option if you'd rather not use the supplied hardware.
Suitable mounting methods include:
- 3M™ VHB™ Tape
- Other high-quality marine-grade double-sided adhesive tapes
This gives a clean, professional installation without mounting hardware.
