🔧 INSTALLATION

The FNQI-3D sunshade has been designed for a quick and simple installation while offering multiple mounting options to suit your preference.

The two-piece sunshade clips together using integrated tension clips, snapping together firmly around the display. No screws or hardware are required to hold the two halves together, keeping the assembly secure once installed.

Option 1 – Surface Mount Installation (Recommended)

This is the recommended installation method.

The sunshade has been designed to utilise the existing surface mounting holes on compatible Garmin displays.

Simply remove the plastic covers from the face of the display to expose the factory surface mounting holes. The mounting holes in the sunshade align with these locations, allowing the supplied stainless steel hardware to securely fasten the sunshade to the display.

Included mounting hardware:

• 4 × M4 x 18mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screws
• 4 × M4 Stainless Steel Flat Washers
• 4 × M4 Stainless Steel Nuts

This installation method provides a strong, secure fit while requiring no modifications to the sunshade itself.

Option 2 – Adhesive Mounting 

Because the two halves are securely retained by the integrated tension clips, additional hardware is not required to keep the sunshade assembled. This makes adhesive mounting an excellent option for users who prefer not to use the supplied hardware.

Suitable mounting methods include:

• 3M™ VHB™ Tape
• Other high-quality marine-grade double-sided adhesive tapes

This provides a clean, professional installation while avoiding the need for mounting hardware.

Please Note: Adhesive tape is not included.
